My daughters and i started Tae Kwon Do in 2014 with Mr Churchill, who is a dedicated, supportive and motivational teacher. Sheffield and Doncaster TKD is a family friendly enviroment where i can train with my daughters. It offers classes up to four times per week, personal 1-2-1 sessions, extra group training and the opportunity to compete and travel accros the country. The highlight of 2016, and thanks to the professional training at Sheffield and Doncaster TKD, was competing and winning medals at the World Championships in Birmingham, as well as having success in regional and national competitions.

Sheffield and Doncaster Tae Kwon Do is a friendly, sociable club, and a great place to make new friends, get in shape, and learn quality Tae Kwon Do from a fantastic instructor.

My daughter, Charlie, joined initially at the age of 6 years, then both my son Max, at 4 yrs old, and myself joined a couple of years later. We had seen how beneficial TKD skills were and how much my daughter had developed in self confidence.
The family friendly club is luck to have a 7th Degree black belt master as its instructor, and along with a small team of helpers, creates a fun, yet focussed method of learning. There is great focus on discipline, and covers other areas such as general fitness and key life skills.
I would not hesitate in recommending either adults or children to the club.

My three daughters and myself all train with Mr Churchill. My eldest daughter, Daisy whom is ten years old, started training when she was five, and is now a black belt. I achieved my black belt in 2016, and our middle daughter, Connie, who is eight, will be grading for her black belt in April 2017, and our youngest, Poppy, who is five years old also trains. We have realised reaching black belt isnt the end , there is so much more to learn
Besides the obvious benefits such as fitness, and self defence, we are also pleased that the girls have made lots of new friends, and are able to be focused more in other areas such as school work.

Going to Mr Churchill’s Tae Kwon Do schools has helped us to be much more confident people. We have made some really good friends there, and we enjoy the lessons. Mr Churchill coaches us to a very high standard, and we have been able to go to lots of competitions, including the English, British, and World Championships. Between us, we have won many trophies, medals and titles, and that makes us feel very proud.

I started doing Tae Kwon Do to improve my fitness, flexibility and balance whilst learning a new skill. I also thought it would be great to learn something new alongside my young son, Luke. We are lucky to have a 7th Dan Black Belt Instructor in Mr Churchill and his technical expertise and vast experience means that all of his students are constantly improving, Sheffield and Doncaster TKD has recently had an impressive record in local, national and international competitions and this is testament to Mr Churchill’s passion and experience in the sport.
— Nick Jones (Age 38)

I like Tae Kwon Do because you get to learn new kicks and punches and learn new moves. I also like moving up the belts. Mr Churchill is the best teacher because he helps us with our patterns and get our next belts but he also makes the lessons fun.
— Luke Jones (age 7)

I have been training with Master Churchill since 1994. The sheffield and Doncaster TKD clubs are friendly, and students are supportive of one another.
Training with Master Churchill enables students to receive tuition from an instructor with 37 + years experience of Tae Kwon Do and martial arts.
With Master Churchill you can work on your own goals, at your own pace and at any age.
Master Churchill helps to motivate students, and helps them achieve their goals, such as grading exams, competitions, or purely to be the best you can be at tae kwon do.

I think Doncaster and Sheffield Tae Kwon Do classes are great fun to train in, i would recommend Master Churchill’s classes to anyone who would like to get fit and learn self defence
